How much do Latin American medical students know about radiology? Latin-American multicenter cross-sectional study
CONCLUSIONS: Latin American medical students included in this study have a regular overall level of knowledge of Radiology, apparently influenced by curricular differences such as class and academic program compliance. Efforts to better understand and improve academic training are indispensable.LIMITATIONS: The study was subject to selection bias determined by non-probability convenience sampling. An exploration of medical student attitudes towards disclosure of mental illness.
Conclusion: Students who perceive themselves to have mental health diagnoses are unlikely to disclose their mental health status on state medical board licensing applications when asked to do so. Characterization of simulation centers and programs in Latin America according to the ASPIRE and SSH quality criteria
CONCLUSIONS: Simulation-based education in health sciences has had an increasing development in Latin America, within a university environment, in an important academic specialization process that seeks to adhere to high-quality standards to improve training and development of clinical skills, human factors, and critical thinking.
